No Fishing with Hurricanes

Well that's it. There hasn't been much fishing these past couple of weeks with all the hurricanes coming close to Florida. The wind has been howling for the past couple of weeks and it seems like it's never going to stop. We did, however, have a break in the rain and crappy weather and Club Member and Charter Capt. Jim Hobales, was able to jump 8 tarpon and caught numerous jacks, trouts, and snappers in North Biscayne Bay last weekend. The mullet runs are in full force and with it brings the feeding frenzy that we all like to see. Some of us will try to get out there this weekend and we'll post a report as soon as we get back.

The club is scheduling numerous Charter Boat Captains specializing in sailfish tournaments. We'd like to set up an annual how-to Sailfish Tournament School with the best captains in the game. Make sure you stay posted for future dates and captain guest appearances.

Till then, tight lines!
